Sri Adi Shankaracharya Sharada LakshmiNarasimha Peetam, an ancient Dharmapeetam directly established by Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya, is situated at the Puranic Kshetra of Hariharapura in Chikmagalur District, Karnataka. Lord Sri LakshmiNarasimha Swamy and Goddess Sri Sharadambika are the chief deities of this Dharmapeetam, located at the holy banks of River Tunga. The Dharmapeetam boasts of an unbroken illustrious chain of Jagadgurus, right from the time of Sri Adi Shankaracharya.
